Once Upon A Time Man - Episode Two
Time has again marched on ahead of itself and has to go back. We have now worked through the primate stage towards the Neanderthal stage at around 300000. Here Maestro takes on his familiar look with his long white beard and hair covering his entire body. Young Peter and Jumbo also appear for the first time and Pierette is more familiar in this episode.
We now learn that Maestro spends most of his time thinking and is actually able to work out complex problems.
Episode two is also the episode in which we meet the big bully and his sidekick for the first time. As usual the bully wants to take what he thinks should be his and is constantly advised by the sneaky little side kick is scuttles around at his heels. As usual Jumbo,even now, knows how to deal with him. Peter, however, tries to resolve the problems without resorting to violence. The two tribes try to get along for at least a while.
Episode two reveals many things including how humans are able to set traps to catch large animals. The humans also bury their dead and mourn for them. Time though stops for no one and it is soon the year -35000.
